Ms. Tamica Rolle is our Clinic Manager at Animal Medical Group. She was born here in Nassau, Bahamas.
She has a deep love for animals and comes from a family of animal lovers. For as long as she can remember she has been incredibly passionate about the wellbeing of animals and knew that she wanted a career working with animals.
At the age of 13 she volunteered at the Central Animal Hospital, Nassau, spending four years as a committed volunteer; her love and passion for caring for animals only intensified.
Ms Rolle trained at the Florida Institute of Animal Arts in Orlando where she gained certification, graduating with honors as a Veterinarian Assistant.
She is known for being adventurous; enjoying new veterinary experiences. An example of this is when she moved to the family island, Abaco where she worked for two years as a Stingray Facilitator at Disney’s Castaway Cay. On her return to Nassau she spent 4 years at a local clinic, as their Head Surgery Nurse and then progressed to being the practice manager at Happy Pets Animal Hospital.
She is a self-confessed proud mum of two fur-babies, a rescue potcake named Alexa, and Zeus, a Belgian Malinois-German Shepherd mix.
Outside of her day job she loves junkanoo, arts & crafts, gardening, and cooking. She volunteers with organisations such as BAARK and the Bahamas Veterinary Medical Association, making a difference to the lives of many sick and homeless pets. She states that as long as she is alive and there are animals to be rescued and taken care of they will always have an advocate in human form in her.
